Brian was at the heart of Kingston life. He was active to the extreme, either bouncing around the tennis court, or weeding the grass verges of the village; a real ‘doer’. As treasurer of the pre-school when I was chair, he would meticulously go through the accounts, always with enthusiasm and a small glass of red in hand! Valerie would invariably then emerge with some tasty cupcakes; they were a great team. Kingston won’t be the same without Brian, we will all miss him.
